Office 365 hidden apps

Office 365 hidden apps

As a Devon based IT provider, we’re always looking for ways to increase our client’s productivity and save them time through the power of technology.

One of the first things we speak to our IT support clients about is Microsoft Office 365.

Office 365 has all the usual popular applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams, but this is just the tip of the iceberg.

This powerful tool has so much more, right at your fingertips, but lots of businesses out there haven’t yet discovered all of it’s hidden gems.

To help, we’ve created a handy list of the best apps in Office 365 that we think every business should be checking out:

Planner

Your very own project management tool. A bit like Trello or Asana but we think Planner is even better. It’s really user friendly and feature rich too. You can use it to make plans and manage whole projects. For each task you create a team, then you can create to do lists and assign tasks to members. You can even keep a close eye on your progress because it plots chats for you.

Yammer

Now that your workforce are split between remote and office, you might be finding internal communication a bit more challenging. Introducing Yammer – your internal comms platform. Similar to Slack or even Facebook. It has a wealth of features to keep your staff in the loop; you can use it to create polls, start conversations and provide company updates. It can also be integrated with Teams too.

Clarity

Wish you knew what pages of your website are the most popular and which could do with some work? With Clarity you can find out what people are clicking on and more importantly what they’re not. You can see heat maps of the pages and sections of your website where people spend the most time. You can even replay videos of what exactly people did on your website. This type of insight is really valuable to help you improve the user experience of your site. Especially given that your website is normally the first thing people see when they engage with your company.

These are just some of the great apps you can access within Office 365, if you want to learn about some others, download our free guide now:
